Winning awards is fun.  For me this is especially true when it comes to writing.  I take blogging very seriously and hope to actually figure out a way to write for a living one day.

Come to find out—giving awards is even more fun.  It was a very enjoyable experience sorting through different blogs I read and offering the “Blog of the Year 2012” to them.  How did I narrow down my list?  First, I picked blogs that continue to be updated regularly; those that offer new, bold ideas about dating and sex (this is specific to MY criteria—not the award); and they need to be well written.  There are many out there worth reading, but here are the two that made my cut:

This blog is a hodgepodge of tips and advice from knowledgeable, interesting, and adventurous young-ins who keep me on my toes with their insight and wit.

One of the reasons I continue to read this blog is because Simply Surreal is just that—this writer’s experiences are so incredibly beyond anything I ever imagined–I keep coming back for more titillating, creative, and outrageous ideas for interacting with men.
